RoboCop: Rogue City Unveils Exciting ‘Unfinished Business’ Expansion Announcement

RoboCop: Rogue City’s expansion, titled Unfinished Business, is set to be released on July 17. This standalone expansion offers players the opportunity to explore new story content specifically located in the OmniTower. Importantly, those interested can enjoy this new content without needing to own the base game. The announcement from developer Teyon and publisher Nacon has generated excitement among fans of the iconic RoboCop franchise.

Players will once again step into the shoes of the titular character, portrayed by Peter Weller, who returns to voice the beloved cyborg police officer. Originally released in 2023, RoboCop: Rogue City is a first-person shooter set in Old Detroit, where players combat crime and engage in investigations alongside partner Anne Lewis. The game has already been recognized for exceptional gameplay, featuring impressive death animations that align it with classics like Halo: Combat Evolved and GoldenEye 007. The upcoming expansion is expected to sustain this high level of intensity and excitement.

Unfinished Business was first teased back in March, and a recent trailer confirmed its release date for July 17, compatible with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC platforms. In this expansion, players will embark on a mission to ascend the OmniTower, which has been taken over by armed mercenaries. The new storyline will expand on the relationship between RoboCop and other characters within the game, picking up after the events of Rogue City. In addition to the eagerly awaited expansion, fans can also look forward to a selection of free PlayStation Plus games available until May 5.

This month, RoboCop: Rogue City joins titles such as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory, providing an exciting gaming experience for fans while they anticipate the expansion’s launch.
