Niantic has unveiled exciting details regarding the GO Fest 2025: Global event for Pokémon GO, which promises exclusive Pokémon and a variety of bonuses for players worldwide. This event serves as a fantastic opportunity for those who could not attend the in-person festivities earlier this summer, held in cities like Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.
These gatherings, which celebrated Pokémon in a grand way, featured unique activities for fans. As June draws to a close, anticipation builds for the online GO Fest 2025: Global event, scheduled for June 28 and 29.
Players can purchase tickets for this global celebration, which will offer special bonuses and a chance to engage in Special Research that leads to an encounter with the exclusive Pokémon Volcanion. The event will showcase different Pokémon in rotating habitats each hour, providing a dynamic experience.
During the event, players will have the chance to encounter Shiny Carbink and Shiny Frigibax for the first time in the wild. The event features familiar Pokémon such as Goomy, Chansey, Larvitar, Galarian Farfetch’d, and Jangmo-o.
Each habitat will operate during specific hours, with rotating themes like Moonless Volcano, Galvanic Dojo, Hypnotic Tundra, and Fae Swamp. Additionally, participants can work together to complete Global Challenges that unlock Ultra Events.
Completing 15 challenges will initiate Part 1: Hisui Celebration, while 30 challenges will unlock Part 2: Steel and Scales. A further 15 will activate Part 3: Origin Raid Day in August.
Exclusive avatar items will also be available during the event, such as the GO Fest 2025 Tee, various tops, hats, and limited stickers. Players can look forward to exciting collaborations and rewards as they engage in this vibrant Pokémon celebration.
