Early Access Benefits Unveiled for Pokémon GO Fest 2025: What to Expect

Pokémon GO has announced exciting new features for ticket holders attending the global GO Fest 2025 event. Following the successful runs in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris, where players participated in unique activities and caught Shiny Carbink and Shiny Frigibax for the first time, anticipation for the global portion is building. The event will feature wild spawns related to specific habitats and 5-star raids against Zacian and Zamazenta, alongside the rare opportunity to catch Hawlucha, a Pokémon usually found only in Mexico.

One of the key updates is the introduction of Gold Bottle Caps, which has sparked conversations about their potential pay-to-win implications. Additionally, ticket holders will benefit from exclusive early access to themed 2 km and 5 km eggs from June 23 to June 29. During this window, players will have the chance to hatch eight Pokémon, including Pancham and Vullaby, with a higher likelihood of encountering shiny variants.

After the early access period, all players will be able to hatch these eggs from June 28 until the event ends. The featured Pokémon in the 2 km eggs include Karrablast, Shelmet, Pawniard, and the colorful Flabébé variants. For the 5 km eggs, players can expect to hatch favorites like Togepi, Goomy, and Jangmo-o.

The Pokémon GO Web Store will offer a special GO Fest Hatcher Box priced at $39.99, containing a generous supply of incubators and Poffins to aid in the fun. Furthermore, the ongoing Ancients Recovered event will conclude around the same time, providing players worldwide with an opportunity to acquire the latest items in Pokémon GO.
