Microsoft has announced the exciting lineup of games arriving on Xbox Game Pass in May 2025. Notable titles such as Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be available, alongside several day-one releases, including Doom: The Dark Ages and Revenge of the Savage Planet. Typically, Microsoft splits their Game Pass announcements across two halves of the month.
However, this time, they have opted for a unique approach. Already, several games have debuted in early May, highlighted during the April 2025 Wave 2 announcement.
The most recent reveal outlines the games being added to the subscription service from now through May 20, showcasing an expanded lineup that subscribers will find appealing. Among the titles recently added, Dredge is now available for Xbox Game Pass across all tiers.
As for upcoming releases, on May 7, fans can look forward to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and several other games joining the Game Pass Standard tier, including Dungeons of Hinterberg, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and Metal Slug Tactics. The excitement continues on May 8, when co-op sci-fi game Revenge of the Savage Planet and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed arrive on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Following that, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be available on May 13 for Game Pass Ultimate and Standard tiers. Doom: The Dark Ages follows on May 15, with Kulebra and the Souls of Limbo launching on May 16.
Finally, both Firefighting Simulator: The Squad and Police Simulator: Patrol Officers will be added to all tiers on May 20. While Microsoft has not yet revealed the complete list of titles for the end of May, we know To a T is set to arrive on May 28, along with Spray Paint Simulator.
Additionally, fans are already looking forward to a summer packed with new games, including Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 on July 11 and Gears of War: Reloaded on August 26, all available on launch day through Game Pass.
