Warframe’s Isleweaver expansion has officially launched across both PC and console platforms as part of Update 39. This exciting release invites players back to Duviri, introducing a wealth of new story content, a limited-time Warframe operation, and various gameplay enhancements.
Over its 12-year lifespan, Digital Extremes’ free-to-play action RPG has seen 20 expansions, with the latest major drop titled Warframe: Techrot Encore arriving in March 2025. The Isleweaver expansion, released on June 25, takes players into the enchanting floating isles of Duviri, highlighting Operation: Eight Claw, a special event available until July 16.
In this mission, players will face Major Neci Rusalka and her Murmur horde, culminating in an intense battle against the new boss, Oraxia, a spider-themed rogue Warframe. Notably, Oraxia is the 61st playable character in the game, designed as “the evolution of a perfect hunter,” focusing on predation and poison.
In addition to Oraxia and her unique weapons, such as the Spinnerex whip and the Scyotid secondary, Isleweaver enriches the game with the introduction of a new enemy type—The Unseeing Herald—who drops a resource called Temporal Dust. This resource is essential for crafting Oraxia and her weapon blueprints.
Isleweaver also emphasizes improving new player experience, revamping Junction solo missions to provide clearer objectives and rewards, making them more accessible. These updates began with the Yareli Prime update in late May 2025.
The expansion encompasses numerous enhancements, including Valkyr’s ability rework, new Warframe Augments, and various quality-of-life improvements. As Operation: Eight Claw concludes on July 16, players will still have access to the Isleweaver node and its resources, setting the stage for future developments in Duviri.
Overall, Isleweaver brings a rich assortment of content and improvements, enhancing the Warframe experience for both new and veteran players.
