June 21 Marks an Exciting Turn for Borderlands 4 Enthusiasts

2K has announced that an official story trailer for Borderlands 4 will premiere on June 21. In a surprising move, the trailer will not be available on YouTube at launch, but instead will be streamed live on the official Borderlands Twitch channel and the Borderlands 4 Steam page. The trailer is set to air at 12:45 PM PT, 3:45 PM ET, and 9:45 PM CET.

Following the live event, it is expected that the trailer will eventually be uploaded to the series’ YouTube channel. As for what fans can expect from the story trailer, 2K has kept details under wraps. However, they confirmed that it will feature a selection of guns, bosses, explosions, and the beloved Borderlands character, Mad Moxxi.

While no specific runtime has been provided, it is likely that the trailer will run for several minutes, similar to the promotional videos already released. Additionally, the trailer will debut as part of the latest installment of Borderlands Fan Fest. This event will offer new gameplay footage captured by popular content creators, focusing on the planet of Kairos in Borderlands 4.

There is also an exciting opportunity for fans to earn a new Vault Symbol Twitch badge during the event. To unlock this digital item, viewers will need to watch a total of 30 minutes of the livestream, although the stream can be watched in the background and even muted to count toward this time. Originally slated for release on September 23, the launch of Borderlands 4 has been moved up to September 12.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version also planned for release before the end of 2025.
