Celestial Guardians has introduced over 200 new cards to the Pokémon TCG Pocket, including the highly anticipated Guzma card, which allows players to remove Pokémon Tools. Players can acquire Guzma through pack openings or by crafting, with three different variants available.
This expansion marks a significant addition to the game, incorporating many Gen 7 Pokémon, Alolan forms, and immersive Trainer cards. The Celestial Guardians expansion prominently features notable Pokémon such as the Legendary duo, Solgaleo and Lunala, who are highlighted on the booster pack art.
In addition to these Legends, the expansion also includes the Alolan forms and a selection of Trial Captains, who serve a role similar to Gym Leaders. Notably, this expansion introduces the first immersive Trainer cards in Pokémon TCG Pocket’s history, which have been highly requested by the player community.
Among the standout cards is Guzma, which allows players to discard all Tool cards attached to the opponent’s active Pokémon. This feature has drawn significant attention, particularly from players seeking to counter the powerful synergies created by various Tool and Pokémon combinations.
The community’s excitement has been palpable, especially as players deal with tactics involving the likes of Darkrai ex and Weavile ex. For players eager to obtain the Guzma Trainer card, there are three variants available through Lunala’s booster packs.
The standard variant has a drop rate of 2.6%, while the immersive and gold background full art versions have lower probabilities at 0.2% and 0.03%, respectively. Players can also craft Guzma cards using Pack Points, with varying costs for each variant.
In addition to Guzma, the expansion also features other immersive Trainer cards such as Lillie, which can be found in Solgaleo packs. Additional Trainer cards like Lana, Sophocles, and Mallow, along with new Pokémon Tool cards, add further depth to this exciting update.
