MindsEye Introduces Hitman’s Agent 47 for a Unique Mission Experience

MindsEye has officially announced an unexpected collaboration with the iconic Hitman series, featuring Agent 47 as a playable character in a post-launch mission. This exciting partnership is particularly fitting given that both MindsEye and Hitman are published by IO Interactive. This collaboration highlights the synergy between the two titles, creating buzz among fans.

MindsEye marks the debut game from Leslie Benzies, the former president of Rockstar North, following his work on the Grand Theft Auto series. As the game’s director, Benzies’ involvement has generated considerable anticipation for the game, which is set to launch on June 10. In the period leading up to this release, Build a Rocket Boy, the studio behind MindsEye, has shared insights into the game’s development, giving players a glimpse of what to expect.

Recently, a trailer unveiled during the Summer Game Fest featured a dramatic reveal at its conclusion, showcasing Agent 47 stepping onto the scene. Build a Rocket Boy stated that he will appear in a post-launch mission scheduled for release in July. Although the collaboration may initially seem random, the close ties between the studios and publisher clarify the rationale behind this promotional strategy.

Furthermore, the much-anticipated mission has been crafted using Build A Rocket Boy’s proprietary Game Creation System, the very tools players can use to create their own custom games, stories, and experiences within MindsEye. This collaboration with Hitman is just the beginning for MindsEye. The developers have revealed that this is merely the first of several collaborative announcements, aligned with a long-term content roadmap post-launch.

Described as an “ever-expanding player experience,” MindsEye promises to deliver fresh, studio-created premium content each month, ensuring fans will have much to look forward to.
